What Makes an Early Childhood Medicaid Partnership Work? Insights from Three Cross-Sector Collaborations

Medicaid covers nearly half of all children ages 0-5, putting it in a unique position to improve future population health by supporting early childhood interventions. This report outlines the activities of three pilot sites pursuing Medicaid-driven strategies to support young children and their families, to help inform other cross-sector partnerships at varying stages of development – problem identification, program design, and program implementation.
