Researchers explore coverage losses between 2017 and 2018 in more depth than prior studies, focusing on changes in insurance coverage types by demographic groups, incomes, and regions. In addition, they examine coverage trends over the 2009 to 2018 period by income, age, and state Medicaid expansion status.
