State Network Presentation at NAIC Summer 2012 National Meeting
State Health Reform Assistance Network – Heather Howard; Georgetown University Health Policy Institute – Mila Kofman
Heather Howard, Director of the State Health Reform Assistance Network, and Mila Kofman, Research Professor at Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute, presented at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Summer National Meeting held from August 11-14, 2012 in Atlanta, GA. Their presentation at the Health Insurance and Managed Care (B) Committee session (click on download button) gave an overview of the State Network and tools developed by the program specifically for insurance regulators. Ms. Kofman, in her role as a State Network Technical Assistance Provider, produced several self-audits, templates, and checklists to help departments of insurance work in concert with other state agencies. These resources were made available during the NAIC National Meeting and are also available as part of the Georgetown ACA Implementation Toolkit for Departments of Insurance.
